A vehicle dealer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has told customers to buy a car for as little as $6,000.
The dealership is asking the public to buy their own cars from the dealership, the Oklahoma City News reports.
The reason the dealership is offering the car as a discount is because of a nationwide “dismantling” campaign.
The campaign aims to reduce the size of the auto market.
The local dealership is calling the campaign a “historic move.”
The campaign will be phased in over the next five years.
As part of the campaign, all owners of new and used cars will receive a $10,000 discount on the purchase price.
“You’ll see us in our shop at least once a week and you’ll see our cars available for you,” said Chris Brown, the dealership’s vice president of sales.
“We want to do the right thing for our community and our community-owned businesses.”
The Oklahoma City dealership will also sell a brand new BMW, which is being used as a promotional vehicle.
Brown said the dealership plans to offer a limited number of new BMWs to customers.
“That’s our mission,” he said.
The car dealership is just one of dozens of auto dealerships across the United States that are trying to sell new cars to their customers.
Some are offering a discount on new cars because of government shutdowns, or because they want to avoid getting sued by car dealers who have taken a hit on sales.
However, it is unusual for a dealership to be selling new cars at all, because new car sales are expected to be down, and some of the smaller car dealerships are struggling to sell them at all.
According to the Federal Trade Commission, only about one-third of U.S. car dealers have new car dealers.
The Federal Trade Commissions Bureau of Consumer Protection reports that the number of auto sales has dropped nearly 17 percent from the same time last year.
In October, the number dropped by 9 percent.
In September, the National Automobile Dealers Association said the auto industry had been hit hard by the shutdown.
“There are a lot of people out there who are going to be hurting, because there are a bunch of other people out here who are doing the same thing,” the National Association of Manufacturers said at the time.
“And it’s going to hurt.”
The auto industry is also looking for a way to save money, Brown said.
He said the dealerships will be selling a range of cars, including a new BMW 5 Series, but that some models are being sold for as low as $1,600.
“It’s a very different way to spend your money,” he told the news outlet.
The National Association for Car Dealers is pushing for states to allow new car manufacturers to compete on price, Brown added.
“The more we can get out of that, the more manufacturers will be able to compete and create jobs in the United State,” Brown said in an interview with the news organization.
