‘The greatest house in Britain’ has been named as the best estate in the world for 2017.
The Economist has awarded The Hillwood Estate in the Isle of Man a whopping $2.2bn, after its owners, Hillwood Properties, were granted £9m from the Land Registry to construct the mansion on land donated to them by a previous buyer.
Hillwood Properties have built on land owned by the previous buyer for a £10m home.
Hillwood have said that the estate’s total value of $3.2 billion is an all-time record.
They are now looking to add more to the mansion, which was previously owned by a wealthy couple who had their property converted into a two-storey house.
The Hillwood property is a four-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bedroom mansion that sits on 5.8 hectares (18 acres) of land in the Hillwood estate in southern England.
The estate is a large and busy property, with two roads in the area, and one main road in the neighbouring town of Stourbridge.
The house has been in the planning stages since the 1920s, and was completed in the late 1980s.
However, a group of local residents and developers fought the plans, and Hillwood were forced to abandon the plan.
In the meantime, the owners were forced by local authorities to take out large loans to build the house, which they later sold for £9 million.
When they decided to sell the property, they realised that the land was being taken over and sold for cheap.
Now, the estate is worth $2bn and is the best-selling property in Britain.
It is the largest estate in Britain, with a total value above £1.5bn, according to a spokesperson for the Land Office.
According to the Hillside Estate’s website, the property comprises 4.7 hectares (12 acres) and is currently owned by Hillwood, who will pay £9.5m for it.
The estate will remain a private home, and will be built as a three-storeys house, with an 18-storeymne (48-foot) frontage and a 14-storemm (48 feet) back.
We will be offering the Hilltop family a generous gift of up to £25,000 in a dedicated fund, and the rest will be donated to the local community. “
We are proud to have this incredible piece of architecture in our backyard and it will become a beacon for the community, as we work with local authorities and the private sector to transform the land into a vibrant, attractive and beautiful new development.” It added: The Hillside estate is currently home to a thriving and growing community of over 4,000 people.
